Midget Gems Kid's Cub Aims...

to achieve learning through play using equipment, water, paint and various fun and educational toys. Writing experiences such as chalk, pens and painting are enjoyed along with play dough, puzzles and wooden block construction. Imaginative play takes place through dress-ups, puppets, home corner, toy animals, cars, etc. These activities are linked by a monthly theme topic which incorporates music, dance, games and arts & crafts. In addition, we offer food and baking sessions during which children will learn to spoon, mix and decorate; making delicious treats which can be shared by everyone.

A Typical Session...

starts at 09:15 allowing moms to drop off their other children at Kindergarten or school first. Children will learn to stow away their bags and take off their shoes before a free play session which lasts for 30 – 40 minutes during which children can freely enjoy all toys and equipment under supervision in an orderly manner. Based on our monthly theme we will have arts and crafts time followed by circle time and nursery rhymes. After snack time we have another free play session. Incorporating our monthly theme, we move on to music and dance time when the children simply have lot’s of fun. To wind down we will have a short story time and the children will get dressed again, before it’s time to return home.
